You might remember Rhea Chakraborty had filed a case against Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister a few months back The case was already pending before the Supreme Court of India which has directed CBI to investigate this case too.
Rhea Chakraborty had alleged that it was Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Priyanka Singh who had arranged a fake prescription of banned drugs. Now, as per the Supreme Court’s directives, CBI will be investigating this case as well. The apex court had earlier directed that all cases pertaining to the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput will be taken over by CBI. And this case will go in the hands of the central investigating agency like the other ones.
Rhea Chakraborty had earlier filed cases against Priyanka Singh and Mitu Singh in connection with the death of SSR. On the other hand, Sushant’s family had alleged that Rhea Chakraborty had a major role to play in the death of SSR. Talking about the cases filed by Chakraborty on Sushant’s sisters, she actually had filed a complaint against Sushant’s sisters on the basis of Whatsapp texts that were exchanged between them on June 8, 2020 (6 days before SSR’s demise).
On the basis of these chats, Priyanka had advised her brother to take three medications including Lonazep, Mexito and Librium. Well, these drugs are generally prescribed for anxiety and depression and not require prescription. Also Read: Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt Gets Clicked By the Paparazzi
It was on February 15 that Bombay High Court had cancelled the case against Mitu Singh but directed to continue the investigation against Priyanka.
On the other hand, the advocate of Priyanka argued before the court that there are no proofs of Sushant consuming those drugs suggested by her. Also Read: Bollywood News: Govinda To Release His Autobiography
