Amid COVID-19 crisis, nobody likes to take a chance. And when it comes to the making of film, the producers simply wants to give it more time before they could start the work again.
For now, the situation due to the coronavirus pandemic is not coming to an end. It’s being expected that it would take some more time for things to get back to normal. Most film makers are aware of this and actually want to cooperate with this.
Ashok Selvan is all set to make his comeback in the upcoming production of J Selvakumarof Kenanya Films. The movie will star Niharika and Ashol Selvan in their lead roles. The above movie will also mark the debut of the aspiring director Swathini as well.
The entire team including the producer, director and the probable star cast completed a puja before start of the shooting.
On the other hand, Leon James is assigned the responsibility of composing the music for the film once the shooting for the same gets started.
Please note that Ashok Selvan has recently got tremendous success with his recent film Oh My Kadavule. Considering this, the makers do not want to take any risk in making the film and presenting it to the audience.
This is what the producer of the film J Selvakumar shared his views, “We have always been eager to introduce new talents and have been particular about delivering contents that savor the tastes of universal audiences.
I have always looked up high on Bollywood’s most reputed production house – Rajshri Productions that has continuously churned out family entertainers like Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Hum Saath Saath Hain.
Accordingly, when I was looking out for scripts of a similar paradigm that has an appropriate blend of family, comedy, love, and emotions, Swathini approached us with a script that looked perfect. Furthermore, she took additional responsibility for reworking and furnishing her script with more family values and substantial characters nearly for a year. With Ashok Selvan’s career graph skyrocketing after the grand success of Oh My Kadavule, I felt more comfortable in expanding the production values of this film.
We are happy to have the talented actress Niharika, who can deliver the best emotions effortlessly. Today, we have kick-started the film’s production with the composing session by music director Leon James. We have decided to start the shooting after the situation is back to complete normalcy. We are looking forward to releasing the film exactly 5 months from the commencement of shooting.”
As of now, only a limited star cast has been finalized including Richard Kevin (Editing work), AR Soorya (cinematography) and Leon James are confirmed to take part in the upcoming film.
