Chandramukhi is one of the highest grossing Tamil language movies that was released in the year 2005.
It starred some of the most eminent faces of Tamil cinema like Nayanthara, Rajinikanth and Jyotika in their pivotal roles.
The film was directed by P Vasu. The most amazing part of this movie was that it continued its theatrical run for as many as 890 days.
Looking at the enormous success of the film, the makers announced to make the sequel of Chandramukhi which will be directed by P Vasu. In the sequel, Raghava Lawrence is going to play the lead role.
As per the current updates, the Tamil language film is scheduled to be produced by The Sun Pictures However, the detailed cast and crew of the film has not been revealed by the makers.
Now, the latest buzz is that Jyotika will again feature in the sequel titled Chandramukhi 2.
Talking about the performance of Jyotika in Chandramukhi, it’s not a secret that she not only played a spectacular performance in the film but was also rewarded for the same.
Recently, the director P Vasu revealed the film’s plot where Raghava Lawrence is expected to play the role of king Vettaiyan just like Rajnikanth in the original Ra Ra song.
On the work front, Jyotika’s upcoming movie ‘Ponmagal Vandhal‘ is all set to release on OTT platforms.
