If we stick to the data provided by Bookmyshow, Baahubali 2 has already broken the record of advance booking that was long held by none other than Aamir Khan’s Dangal. As per Ashish Saksena, who’s the COO of Bookmyshow, told media that they have been experiencing quite an unprecedented advance booking for the great epic war saga.
They disclosed to have sold over 1 million tickets through advance booking across multiple languages in a single day. Baahubali 2 not only grabbed all the love from the South Indian audience but also from the Hindi speaking audience as well. This might be the reason for such a huge rush in theatres on the opening day itself.
As per a film distributor, the film might enter into Rs 200 crore club within 3 days (or less) of its release. However, if we look the numbers across all languages, the numbers may go even higher.
