This time, Kher will be playing the role of former Prime Minister that will be a kind of an upcoming political drama. The movie is going to be based on a memoir written by none other than Sanjay Baru who happened to be the Manmohan Singh’s personal media advisor.
Anupam Kher shared his moment of glory by taking on his twitter account. He shared the Accidental Prime Minister first look that unveils the uncanny resemblance with Manmohan Singh.
He also inserted a caption while sharing the first poster of his political drama film that said “To reinvent as an artist is just like challenging yourself.” He also wrote- Looking forward to portray Dr Singh in the film Accidental Prime Minister.

The film is titled after the ‘controversial’ book released in the year 2014 on Manmohan Singh- ‘The Unmaking and Making of Manmohan Singh’. The upcoming film will be produced by Sunil Bohra and directed by none other than Vijay Ratnakar Gutte.
As per the news published in a leading newspaper, the multi starrer is going to release not before December 2018.
The book written by Sanjay Baru had said that former Prime Minister had been defanged by the congress party chief- Sonia Gandhi, regarding the appointment of some key positions related to the PM’s office.
As expected, the film will portray all the scandals and other mismanagements happened during the regime of the UPA government. It seems that the film is fueled with all the stuff to make you glued to your monitors.
This is because he looked to surrender to the party chief and also to the strategic alliance partners in the UPA government. Not only that, Baru also disclosed another fact. According to him, Manmohan Singh had asserted that there couldn’t be more than one center of power.
Anupam Kher last appeared in Akshay Kumar’s Naam Shabana. His new and upcoming film will be Toilet: Ek Prem Katha that will be directed by Shree Narayan Singh.
