They launched the documentary series Welcome to Wrexham and dedicated millions to improving the club’s infrastructure. The payoff came in 2023 when Wrexham won the National League, securing a spot in the English Football League after a 15-year gap.
In the small English town, visitor spending surged, merchandise sales exploded, and the club’s value soared. “He illustrated that building authentic connections with communities provides more value than standard corporate methods,” Berenger concluded.
