The event managed to host the participation from Shri Tukaram Mundhe, IAS, Secretary, Divyang Kalyan Department, Maharashtra, along with Mr. Prakash Magdum, IIS, MD of NFDC.

Audiences were further surprised by the presence of The Great Indian Kapil Show cast. It included the names like Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda, Sunil Grover, and Kapil Sharma. It also included an inspiring talent of the visually impaired.

This is what Kapil Sharma had to say while interacting about this very initiative, “The true fulfillment for any artist comes when their performance is enjoyed by as many people as possible.

This event reminded me of exactly that, where every joke and every emotion was accessible to all. I feel honored to be part of it. Entertainment is meant for everyone, and accessibility helps us achieve that goal.”

As per Dr. Vimal Kumar Dengla, “The joy of entertainment should be available to all. When Netflix prioritizes accessibility, it creates new opportunities for the blind community. Audio description stands as a strong example of inclusion being practiced, not just promised.”

This is what he expressed, “Well, in terms of the accessibility, we basically chat regarding dignity but not any sort of assistance. Features such as audio description bring the magic of cinema alive for our visually impaired citizens.

Netflix and NAB have given us a model of how innovation can foster inclusivity. The Government of Maharashtra is determined to create equal cultural opportunities for all.

It all happened after Mr. Magdum added, “Cinema isall about shared experience, and that inclusivity should extend to all, without exception. Netflix has already set an admirable example, reminding us that great things happen when we come together for a common cause.”

Reflecting on the initiative, Tanya Bami stated, “A story feels whole only when it belongs to everyone. The experience has been incredibly humbling, pushing us to keep striving for all the learning and growth.”

Blending humor with inclusivity, the event served as a reminder that storytelling achieves its true essence only when it ensures access for all audiences.
