Sidharth Malhotra is currently having a great time while shooting for a number of projects.
The macho Bollywood actor was last featured in Marjaavaan. This time, he has bagged yet another project which will be the remake of a popular Tamil movie titled Thadam.
In Thadam Hindi remake, the actor is supposed to play the double role. To be precise, Sidharth will be playing the role of a gambler and a small time thief along with being a businessman.
Sidharth was recently finalised to be in the Hindi remake of Tamil movie Thadam.
But only thing remaining right now is to rope in the female lead. Well, it seems that it will take some time for the makers to finalise the female lead as well.
As per the latest Bollywood news, the makers of Tamil movie Thadam are currently looking for an A grade female lead to cast her opposite Sidharth Malhotra.
As per them, it might take a span of not more than two weeks to finalise the female lead for the upcoming film.
The original Tamil movie titled Thadam was released last year in 2019 that featured Arun Vijay in his double role.
The film also featured many other faces including Vidya Pradeep, Smruthi Venkat and Tanya Hope in their respective key roles as well.
Thadam is known to be the highest grossing movies both directed and written by Magizh Thirumeni. It was produced by one and only Inder Kumar.
Currently, Sid is shooting for his next film Sherahah opposite Kiara Advani which is scheduled to hit screens on July 3, 2020.
