Telugu Actress Madhavi Latha says that Tollywood is no different than Bollywood where you can find drug abuse in huge amounts. This is why the actress feels like NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) needs to have a closer look at Telugu film industry as well.
As per the updates from Sushant Singh Rajput murder case, Rhea Chakraborthy is already in jail. She has confessed her crime and has given the names of 25 A and B listers involved in murdering Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR).
Some of the names she revealed include Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan. She said that both of them used to consume drugs along with her.
Speaking on the ongoing conflict between NCB and the usage of drugs among Bollywood stars, Madhavi Latha clarified that Telugu film industry is no different than Bollywood.
She insisted that parties in Tollywood industry involved the usage of narcotic drugs up to a large extent.
This is what Madhavi alleges, “It is good that the NCB has taken the drug angle to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.
It’s no secret that drug usage is rampant in Bollywood but I doubt this case will ever hold people accountable. Even previously such cases have been brought forth only to fizzle out.”
She adds, “NCB officers in Telangana must focus on Tollywood as well. Unlike the last time, they should grill people and bring out the facts. Drug parties are so common here. Even during lockdown, few drug parties were busted in the city. I believe the police must keep an eye out not just on Hyderabadis but on people from the film industry too.”
The actress further stated that she has actually witnessed firsthand and what usually happens at the Tollywood parties organized by top celebrities.
This is what Madhavi has to say, “I have seen how they abuse drugs; I did not open up about this before because I believe there’s a huge mafia behind the drug supply. But what with the NCB looking into Bollywood, I believe now is the right time to speak up,” she says.
This is the reason why the actress likes these celebrities to understand the nature of these parties. She also find them responsible for all such act which is going on for the last several decades.
This is what she has to say, “Celebrities who take drugs must question themselves about the kind of message they want to give out to their fans,” she adds.
