Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide Case: MNS Chief Raj Thackeray Issues Official Statement

Right after Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, many reports started coming to the surface about the involvement of MNS in one way or the other.

Today, it’s been over 20 days since the late actor had committed suicide.

The report that was published earlier by the popular media house suggested that various MNS leaders have come to the rescue of all those outsiders who constantly try to work in the film industry but do not get work due to the increased incidences of nepotism.

Later, Times of India also published a quote in the favor of MNS Vice President Vageesh Saraswat that was simply about all those new comers who want to join the industry but are unable to get the work and harassed. This is what it read, “If anyone is being harassed in the film industry if any gang is not letting an artist work, the artist should approach MNS. Raj Thackeray’s party will teach anyone practicing nepotism a tough lesson.”

 

 

Reacting to the reports, MNS chief had to finally release a press statement to clarify his party’s position. Thackeray said, “Since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the Hindi film industry stands unsettled and controversies are looming large. The story went ahead to state that if any artist is harassed or a victim of injustice, they can approach the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). This piece was carried and circulated widely.

I want to make it very clear that neither my party, nor its various wings are involved in any such controversies/news being spread. Kindly take note of this. Thank you.”

The above issue came into the reality after Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on his residence at Bandra, Mumbai on June 14, 2020.
