Soorma Poster- As per the latest Bollywood news, Diljit Dosanjh will be seen in yet another film titled Soorma. This film will be vaguely different this time as he will be seen transforming himself into the character of Sandeep Singh (great hockey legend). As per the Soorma trailer released today, Diljit has left everybody astonished with his outstanding work.
The upcoming film will be released on June 29, 2018. It stars Taapsee Pannu and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles. Angad Bedi will also share the screen. All of them will together showcase the real life of Sandeep Singh.

This film is going to be a hockey biopic and will mostly revolve around Diljit Dosanjh, who is playing the real life character of great legendary hockey player Sandeep Singh.

Well, if we analyze the kind of films Diljit mostly prefers, then you may find him doing romantic and comic roles most often. The singer turned actor will be seen portraying the life of great hockey player of the country- Sandeep Singh. Soorma will be directed by Shaad Ali.
Initially, the film took time in deciding the title of the movie, as it was initially named Flicker Singh (as per the nickname of the great hockey player).

Taran Adarsh, who is the trade analyst, officially shared the Soorma poster and announced its release date as well. He shared this on twitter and wrote “Taapsee Pannu, Diljit Dosanjh and Angad Bedi to be seen in #Soorma based on the life of hockey legend Sandeep Singh. Directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Sony Pictures, Deepak Singh, and Chitrangada Singh.”
The Soorma Poster reveals how Dosanjh is completely immersed in his character. As per the trailer, it presents two versions of hockey legend- one is the kind of aggression he shows after he decides to take on his rivals on the ground and the other is when we see him to be seated in a wheelchair. Well, all this depicts as if there is lots more to be known about the great hockey player.
Before releasing the Soorma poster, the makers of the film had successfully released a teaser poster that featured Sandeep and Diljit. By presenting his side in the movie, we all seem to have become quite impatient to know the details of the upcoming biopic. But for that we need to wait till the next year.
Dosanjh will be sharing the screen space with Taapsee Pannu for the first time in this movie. Taapsee, on the other hand has already proved her worth as a viable actress by performing in her latest- Judwaa 2. In addition to the above star casts, Angad Bedi also happens to be one of the star casts in this film, who will also be seen shooting for Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai.
