Avika Gor admits that she and Milind Chandwani were certain about spending their lives together, even early into their five-year relationship
Breaking the news on Instagram, actor Avika Gor announced her engagement to Milind Chandwani on Wednesday, writing, “Easiest ‘yes’ of my life.”
Avika Gor, 27, who has been dating Milind Chandwani, 32, for nearly five years, says they were certain about their future from the start. “The confidence I feel about entering this new phase with him is beyond words. I’m truly excited and wanted to share our love story with the world,” the actor expresses.
Adjusting to her new status is still a process, Avika Gor admits, but she’s relishing the journey toward becoming a bride. “Being called the ‘hone waali bahu’ by my in-laws feels wonderful now that we’re engaged,” she says.
Talking about Milind, she shares, “I’m a die-hard romantic, and he’s the polar opposite, but he still creates magical moments for me.” She fondly recalls, “During our Hyderabad engagement, it started drizzling and he said, ‘Let’s exchange rings in the rain.’ That moment was straight out of a movie.”
Expressing her enthusiasm, Avika said, “I’m over the moon and wanted the world to be a part of our happiness. This date was important—it had to be today.”
On the question of marriage, she confirmed, “Yes, we’re planning to marry this year.” Teasing her fiancé, she said, “He’s my dream partner. I think I’m his, too, but if not, he’s stuck with me!”
She also shared that they’re entering uncharted territory together: “We’ve signed up for a reality show, don’t ask me how that happened!”
The duo’s love story began in 2020 when the actor started dating Milind, a social worker and Roadies 17 participant. Their romance was made public within months.
