It’s offensive, but I deal with it by reporting it

Jonita Gandhi recently recalled a particularly appalling case of social media abuse.

“While checking my mentions on Instagram, I was shocked to see a story from someone’s Close Friends, it was a d*ck pic with my face in the background. It was absolutely disgusting,” she shared.

While she tries to remain unfazed, Jonita doesn’t stay silent. “I report it. These are just bored people trying to get attention.” She also emphasized the emotional toll it can take on families.

“If my mom saw those images, it would really hurt her. That’s what bothers me most.”“Some people just want a female performer on stage”

At recent events, Jonita Gandhi has had to deal with fans who forget boundaries. “They get on stage and want to sing with me—it’s genuinely annoying,” she said.

“Even my sarcastic comebacks don’t register with them because they’re drunk.” When fans try to get too close physically, she makes it clear: “Back off. Know your place.”

The singer is currently focused on promoting her latest single, Beparwai.
