Being a popular celebrity, he added yet another feather in his cap. Today, the Bollywood star attained as many as 39 million followers on Twitter.

Shahrukh Khan has left behind mega star Amitabh Bachchan in terms of the number of followers on Twitter. As of now, SRK has reached to the height of over 39 million followers on Twitter.

With such an overwhelming number of fans following on Twitter, Shahrukh Khan has become the most favored Bollywood celebrity in the entire biz world.

Having such a thundering fan following on Twitter signifies that SRK has so much of entertainment left in him even after performing on the big screen for over two decades.

After his fans following crossed the 39 million mark, hash tag #SRK39Million started trending on the entire social media website.

The figures say that SRK has surpassed Amitabh Bachchan who had 38.8 million followers. But now, Shahrukh Khan has beaten his record by attaining slightly higher number of followers.

In terms of the fans following on Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan has slipped on to the number 2 position as SRK acquired the first place to become the only celebrity to having such a tremendous number of fans following on Twitter.

On the professional front, Shahrukh Khan has made all his fans in a state of restlessness by not announcing his next film since he was last featured in Zero.  It seems that he needs some more time to make sure that he’s doing the right film.
