This is what Tinu Ananad confirmed SpotboyE about the ongoing developments. he said, “Yes, I will remake Shahenshah.
But let this Coronavirus attack end first. It’s on our heads and hence I cannot tell when I shall start and release the remake.”
On Ranveer Singh playing the role of Amitabh Bachchan in Shahenshah, this is what one of the report has to say in this regard, “Now, whispers in Bollywood are getting loud that Tinu Anand wants Ranveer Singh to play the title role. Expect a long meeting between the two parties once the lockdown is lifted.”
The original Shahenshah had featured Kader Khan, Meenakshi Sheshadri and Pran in their prominent roles.
It was the film that grabbed huge success after it became the highest grossing movie of 1988.
