Everyone is going excited as today is Diwali. The occasion looks so nice and special for Samantha who looks all set for making Diwali celebrations this year. It’s because Diwali 2021 happens to be the first Diwali for her since she split up with her ex-husband and actor Naga Chaitanya.
The picture Samantha posted on social media sports a red co-ord set Mishru outfit. She can be seen curling up her hair and other accessories along with bangles. She can also be seen posing with her pet dogs named Saasha and Hash.
It all happened when Samantha and Naga Chaitanya released a joint statement where the ex-couple released a statement about their mutual split. The couple was married for four years.
And this is what the statement says, “To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Sam and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was very core of our relationship, which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support.”
Now, on the work front, Samantha is known to have wrapped up the shooting for ‘Shaakuntalam’. She is also lined up with Vignesh Shivan directorial ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal co-starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara.
