Rishi Kapoor has always been vocal about the burning topics and even don’t mind presenting his views on any given topic even if it is controversial.
This time, the actor came forward to put forward his views regarding the rights of artists and businessmen to get recognition into their respective fields.
Rishi Kapoor says that it looks so crucial that government start recognising the different roles of artists hailing from the cine world as they have always contributed in their own ways that has helped the country to give it recognition at different times.
The cine actor will be completing 50 years in the film industry next year.
The Bollywood actor elaborated that the government should act in the right ways to felicitate the artists from the cine world in the right manner from time to time. But it’s the tragedy in front of us that they don’t do so.
Rishi Kapoor touched various other aspects while putting forth his thoughts on the topic. This is what he said, “If I get a chance, I can talk about the entertainment tax that the industry has to contribute. It’s a huge money that goes directly to the government. The entire chunk of money is coming directly in the form of entertainment tax that we pay to the government directly. I’m already tired of repeating that they should start recognising the role of cinema and artists in the country. However, the dilemma is that they land on deaf ears, what I can do,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Rishi Kapoor’s next project is going to be The Body where he will feature along with with Sobhita Dhulipala and Emraan Hashmi.
The film is expected to get released on December 13.
