Rakul Preet Singh has often been the inspiration for Tarun Tahiliani’s designs, so it wasn’t surprising that she opted for the designer for her own wedding. Her exquisite blush pink lehenga showcased the designer’s distinctive floral embroidery.
One of the standout features of Rakul Preet Singh’s bridal attire was her intricately hand-embroidered lehenga, adorned with three-dimensional floral motifs in soft blush and ivory hues.
The blouse featured delicate tulle sleeves adorned with crystals and pearls in a graded pattern. The structured tulle veil was similarly decorated with Swarovski crystals and star motifs that cascaded like flowers.
Singh desired for the version by Tarun Tahiliani to blend a contemporary narrative with whimsical floral elements.
Rakul, an advocate of the less-is-more concept, embraced a minimalist approach to makeup on her wedding day, sporting a nude look that complemented her pastel pink Tarun Tahiiani Lehenga beautifully.
With a subtle blush of pink makeup, nude pink lips, and kohl-lined eyelids to add depth, she epitomized understated yet striking bridal elegance..
Rakul Preet Singh looked breathtaking in her pastel lehenga and stunning custom-made jewelry. The blouse’s exquisite sweetheart neckline provided the perfect setting for a stunning polki necklace. Her smile brightened even more when she glanced at Jacky. The necklace complemented her simple bridal ensemble, particularly when paired with matching earrings and a maang tikka.
For his attire, Bhagnani, the groom, selected an ivory chikankari sherwani featuring an elaborate ‘chinar’ motif, which took around six months to craft. The ensemble also included Tahiliani’s signature pleated stole.
Every detail was meticulously hand-embroidered with genuine zardozi from Tahiliani’s design house and a variety of chikankari techniques using silk threads. Tarun Tahiliani’s inspiration for this masterpiece was derived from the beauty, culture, and artistry of Kashmir, honoring the craftsmanship involved.
