Pritam Chakraborty, a renowned music director took to Instagram to address the above allegations against Jennie, suggesting that such occurrences could be coincidental and emphasizing that no one is intentionally copying, as he expressed in a series of notes.
He took to the platform and wrote, “Rani and Jennie are names that rhyme, so having a similar flow in one phrase doesn’t mean it’s a copy. In music, minor resemblances are bound to occur—whether through rhyming, phrasing, or even within the same genre.
He further stated, “Rather than fixating on minor details, it’s crucial to look at the larger context. In today’s interconnected world, where artists share common platforms, no one is intentionally copying someone else’s work. Making a song requires a lot of hard work, and if an artist is inspired by an idea, they can always collaborate on it.”
He ended by saying, “Music is all about creativity, personal artistic expression, influence, and occasionally, simple coincidence, especially when artists are on the same creative frequency. Instead of bringing artists down, we should be celebrating their work.” He also wished her ‘good luck’ with the new album.
