The source further added, “The Raja Saab is a VFX-heavy film, and Maruthi wants to ensure top-notch quality for an enjoyable audience experience.
Though the release date hasn’t been finalized, there are still good opportunities later in the year. However, a new date will only be confirmed once significant progress is made in post-production.”
The Raja Saab Shooting Delays
The Raja Saab has encountered multiple delays since production began in 2022. Despite challenges, including setbacks even after the COVID-19 pandemic, filming took longer than expected.
However, in December last year, the team announced that 80% of the shoot had been completed. “Filming is moving at a fast pace with round-the-clock schedules, and post-production is well underway,” they stated.
When rumors suggested that the teaser might drop around Christmas or New Year, the team dismissed them. Updates on the film have been scarce, leaving fans eager for news.
Now, it appears that The Raja Saab won’t make its planned summer release. According to sources, the makers will issue an official statement once they finalize a new release date.
