If the announcement made by Netflix is to be believed, the online streaming channel is set to release at least one new movie every week in 2021.
So, if you are one of the fortunate subscribers of Netflix, it can be exciting news for you. Currently, Netflix has as many as 70 movies on its roaster which is something greater than Warner Bros. and Disney taken together.
The channel is ready to showcase movies in the coming year and is likely to include some directional debuts by Halle Berry, Lin-Manuel Miranda. It will also comprise the final installment in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy.
This doesn’t include the entire calendar of movies to be released on the channel but will acquire them through the entire year. In one of the stories developing, Netflix may purchase the rights of movies from studios like Paramount or Universal that they sell.
During pandemic, people chose to stay at home and watched movies and other entertaining shows on Netflix. This is how they knew the importance of such a quality online streaming channel that releases so much stuff to the subscribers.

And now, the demand is more. That’s why, the company has decided to release at least one new movie in 2021 to entertain subscribers at the optimum level. At the same time, the pandemic also brought more competition in the online streaming space.
In short, it won’t be wrong saying that Netflix needs shows, web series and movies to woo its audience at large. The recent tactic of WarnerMedia (in the lockdown) was to bring more entertainment stuff back to the audience as they are unable to go to cinema halls.
This is the reason why the channel mainly stacked to its decision t release movies and TV shows on HBO Max.
Before pandemic, Netflix lived like king as it didn’t has to go through any sort of competition.
But now, time has changed where more players are ready to serve the audience with all the stuff at once.
On the other hand, Netflix almost failed to release its stuff at once. And so, we all witness how the online streaming giant has to change its game plan to woo its subscriber base.
