Mira Rajput shared her candid thoughts on the chaos of planning family vacations with Shahid Kapoor and their children, Misha and Zain.
Speaking to Naina Bhan and Sakshi Shivdasani on the Moment of Silence YouTube channel, she explained how each family member’s different needs and desires make vacation planning a hectic task.
What Mira Stated
Mira Rajput opened up about the challenges of family vacation planning, saying, “We’re currently planning our vacation, and as expected, we all have different things we want to do. Shahid and I are in the mood to chill and do nothing, while I have a completely different plan with the kids.”
“I aim to show them new places and sights, so they have interesting things to talk about when they go back to school. Shahid’s focus is on doing fun activities like kayaking, trekking, and paddle-boarding with them. But the kids? They’re mostly interested in eating and spending time at the waterpark.”
It’s Going Nowhere
This is what Mira further explained, “We’re trying to plan how to incorporate everything now. The kids honestly don’t care, and in the end, it’s all about the iPad!
So now we’re thinking about how to balance chill time, sightseeing, water parks, and giving them the iPad, while also trying to make sure they don’t get too worn out when we come back. The whole point is to return feeling refreshed.
But it’s not really coming together because the kids are older now. We can’t just tell them what we’re doing anymore, they’ve got their own ideas. We can’t force them to do anything… they’ll just say it’s boring.”
It all happened in the year n 2015 when Shahid and Mira entered into an arranged marriage after meeting through their mutual spiritual path. They are parents to two children: Zain and Misha. Mira has also recently co-founded Akind Beauty, a skincare brand.
