Despite receiving mixed-to-positive reviews and praise for its comedy, the film failed to draw audiences.
As per Sacnilk, it did not gain momentum even on the Maha Shivratri holiday, earning just Rs 0.57 crore.

As per industry reports, the romantic comedy had a weak opening, raking in just Rs 1.5 crore on day one.
It became the second-lowest opening for a Bollywood film this year, with only Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s Loveyapa faring worse at Rs 1.15 crore.
Starting from day 4, the film experienced a drop in earnings, struggling to surpass Rs 1 crore daily. Even with the festive boost on its first Wednesday (day 6), it couldn’t pick up pace and managed up to Rs Rs 0.57 crore.
The movie recorded an overall occupancy of 11.84%, with morning shows at 5.29%, afternoon shows at 14.67%, and evening shows at 15.55%.
After six days, its total earnings have reached Rs 6.2 crore. With no significant growth in sight, it is heading toward being one of the year’s biggest disappointments.
About Mere Husband Ki Biwi
This lighthearted comedy centers on Ankur (Arjun Kapoor), a working professional from Delhi who moves on from a failed marriage and starts a new relationship with Rakul Preet Singh. However, his world is turned upside down when his former wife (Bhumi Pednekar), unaware of their divorce due to memory loss.
Backed Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, and Vashu Bhagnani, the film basically features an ensemble cast, including Harsh Gujral, Kanwaljeet Singh, Shakti Kapoor, Dino Morea, and Aditya Seal in their respective pivotal roles.
