As per the latest Bollywood news, Mani Ratnam has started working for his next project ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ which is going to be a multi starrer film.
In order to hunt the desired locations for shooting of the film in Thailand, he along with choreographer Sham Kaushal have no choice but to travel the entire country without wasting a single moment.
As we stated above that Ponniyin Selvan is going to be a multi starrer film, a plethora of Bollywood and Kollywood actors are likely to be seen in the upcoming movie.
The film stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Keerthy Suresh, Vikram along with Malayalam actor Jayaram in their respective pivotal roles.
Sham Kaushal who is the choreographer in the film has himself revealed the latest developments of the film after he shared a picture of him with Mani Ratnam through his Twitter account. This is what he posted the picture with a caption, “Location recce in Thailand.”

As the crew is already in Thailand, it looks like the major portion of the film will be shot in the country itself.
As per the reports, the makers have already selected Indonesia and Thailand to be the most desired places for the shooting.
These locations have been chosen mainly due to the presence of temples and great forest cover.
For example, the location covered by temples precisely gives the feeling of the 9th century and also due to the fact that it resonates with the film’s story line as well.
There are some more attractions that we would like to share with you. Well, the best part of this film is that AR Rehman is composing the music.
In addition to this Ravi Varman will be doing the magic from camera. The responsibility of production design in the film is given to Thotta Tharani.
