L2 Empuraan box office collection day 14: On its 14th day at the box office, L2 Empuraan, the follow-up to Mohanlal’s 2019 hit Lucifer has officially claimed the title of the highest-earning Malayalam film ever
L2 Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and headlined by Mohanlal, has soared past controversy to deliver a powerful box office performance, raking in over ₹102 crore in just 14 days.
The Malayalam blockbuster is also impacting the momentum of Salman Khan’s Sikandar, overshadowing its earnings
L2 Empuraan Box Office Performance
As per Sacnilk, L2: Empuraan earned ₹1.15 crore on its second Wednesday (Day 14), pushing its total collection to ₹102.35 crore. The film recorded an overall Malayalam occupancy of 13.77% that day.
On day 14, L2: Empuraan experienced a slight decline in box office performance, collecting ₹1.15 crore, a 16.13% dip from its day 13 figures of ₹1.30 crore.
The film had earlier pulled in ₹1.55 crore on day 12, ₹3.85 crore on day 11, and ₹3.35 crore on day 10, reflecting a steady slowdown in its daily haul.
The Malayalam film continues to perform impressively, posing tough competition to Salman Khan’s Sikandar and making its mark as a strong rival in the box office race.
The earnings for Sikandar have been steadily falling, with the film grossing ₹4.75 crore on its second Sunday (day 8), followed by ₹1.75 crore on day 9 and ₹1.50 crore on day 10.
Starring Rashmika Mandanna and Salman Khan, the Hindi film released on March 30—has shown a continual downward trend at the box office, with little indication of a turnaround.

The sequel to Lucifer, L2: Empuraan dives into the life of Stephen Nedumpally, aka Khureshi Ab’raam (Mohanlal), as he returns to Kerala upon discovering that his brother, Chief Minister Jathin Ramdas (Tovino Thomas), has partnered with the dangerous Baldev (Abhimanyu Singh).
Putting his global operations against drug empires on hold, Stephen shifts focus to rising tensions at home. With his confidant Zayed Masood (Prithviraj) and sister Priyadarshini (Manju Warrier) both drawn into the conflict, the stakes become intensely personal.
