Crossing a staggering over 90 million views shortly after release, the trailer of Tere Ishk Mein has catapulted anticipation for Aanand L Rai’s film to new heights.
With an A.R. Rahman score and a 28 November 2025 release across Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages the film has already made an impact through its raw emotionality, textured characters and stormy narrative pulse.

Kriti Sanon chose to delve into the emotional depth of her character Mukti. while joining the conversation. This is what she has to say, “Her journey is full of layers,” she explained. “Where she begins and where she ends up, every decision has meaning.
Often, nothing is verbalised, and with no dialogue, the expression comes only through your eyes. That was a new challenge, and one I loved embracing.”
Kriti also acknowledged how challenging most of the film’s toughest scenes were, particularly the emotionally high-voltage climax sequences that were shot across nearly a week.
She said, “There were so many intense moments… they were exhausting on every level. The atmosphere on set felt heavy, and even in my vanity I could sense the fatigue. Some days, I went home and still felt that weight. It left me thoroughly drained.”
While making her point clear, the actress further clarified that Mukti’s emotional crescendo comes in the pre-climax and climax, calling them “the most intense portion of the narrative” and the part that “pulled me down the most.”
According to Kriti Sanon, Tere Ishk Mein will feature a performance of true depth. As Rahman’s music garners admiration and the trailer keeps its momentum alive, the film looks set to deliver a heartfelt narrative anchored in rich emotions and layered storytelling.
