Kesari Chapter 2 showed an upward trend on its second Friday, with collections surpassing Thursday’s figures. The film brought in ₹4.05 crores, a rise from the ₹3.60 crores it earned the previous day.

While Ground Zero was the only major new release, catering mostly to the multiplex crowd, it could have affected Kesari – Chapter 2’s performance. However, that wasn’t the case, as Kesari – Chapter 2 continued to be the clear favourite among audiences, leading by a considerable margin.

The film is right on track for a solid day ahead, with ₹5 crores almost assured. There’s also a good chance it could surpass ₹6 crores. If that happens, it would be a great outcome, as even a ₹7 crores figure on Sunday would be impressive.

Even if the collections fall just short of those numbers, the film is still expected to comfortably exceed its targets by the end of the 2nd week.

The historic drama directed by Karan Singh Tyagi has crossed the ₹50 crore mark in just 8 days, with its current total at ₹50.59 crores.

It is expected to comfortably surpass ₹60 crores by the end of the second weekend, with any figure beyond that being an added bonus.

A lifetime total of ₹80 crores now seems within reach for the Akshay Kumar starrer, and any performance beyond that will be closely watched.
