Kamal Haasan to Start Filming for A Malayalam Anthology Film With Fahadh Faasil, Mammooty & Mohanlal?

For the past few years, anthology films have become the most favorite ones among the audience. The makers already know about this growing trend and are trying hard to make more such films to reach out wider audience.

Looking at the above trend, there has been a speculation that a leading OTT platform has approached actors like Fahadh Faasil, Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal, Mammootty to work together in their next anthology film in Malayalam language.

As per the latest report in this regard, the upcoming anthology film will be inspired by some short stories written by MT Vasudevan Nair.

Kamal Haasan to Start Working In An Anthology Film?

Reports also suggest that the renowned OTT platform has also approached directors like Mahesh Narayanan, Santosh Sivan, Shyamprasad, Jayaraj, Priyadarshan and Lijo Jose Pellissery for the making of the film. But there is no official confirmation received from their side so far.

According to the latest reports, Kamal Haasan will be presenting short stories. But he won’t be acting or directing the anthology film to be produced by the OTT.

Right now, Kamal Haasan is busy shooting for his upcoming film Vikram. Others who also star in the film are Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in their respective pivotal roles. Vikram is expected to hit the big screen this year.

The music in the film is given by Anirudh. You might have heard several stories about the delay in Kamal Haasan’s Vikram.

It all happened after he was tested positive for the COVID-19. He was even admitted to a private hospital in Chennai and was later discharged.
