He also spoke about how he turned to film production after becoming dissatisfied with the acting opportunities he was receiving.

While giving an interview to a media house, the actor stated that he recounted a time when he faced a four-year hiatus, during which many new faces entered the industry and he was written off. He noted, “When Parmanu was released, I was uncertain about my standing. But it succeeded. The secret is to keep working. Even during my so-called ‘free’ periods, I continued to work hard. People will eventually recognize your dedication and sincerity.”
John shared that his shift to producing was driven by dissatisfaction with the films he was making and watching. He wanted to impact the industry differently.
He also mentioned that while everyone has two life dimensions—X and Y—he discovered a new perspective, the Z-axis, which changed how others perceived him. This new dimension highlighted his intellectual contributions, leading to successful projects like Vicky Donor, Parmanu, and Batla House.
