Jayalalithaa Biopic-Arvind Swami Gives His First Look as MGR in Thalaivi

Jayalalithaa Biopic– It was a long time ago that the makers had decided to make a biopic on the life of the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha. With the passage of time, they tried to gauge every other artist to fit into the most eminent characters.

One of these characters is of MGR who is the late TN Chief Minister, MG Ramachandran, also known as MGR. The biopic is currently in the shooting stage where the audience will have to witness the performance of Kangana Ranaut who will be playing one of the lead characters in the movie. Jio Rockers

It all happened today when the entire cast and crew came out to pay respect to the former TN CM on his birth anniversary. On such an auspicious occasion, the Thalaivi team came forward to showcase the character of MGR playing by none other than Arvind Swami.

When someone asked about Swami about his new avatar, Vijay said that Amma (J Jayalalitha) had once said that she had only two people MGR and her mother whom she admired the most. Apne TV

The makers of the biopic further clarified, “We have done almost everything to make each character fit on screen. In making the process smooth, we have Arvind Swami who has entirely transformed into the character of MGR. He’s the one who started prepping for the above role almost 3 months back before the shooting began.”

Vijay further clarified, “We just want to do our best with all the real life characters and actually want to recreate all those precious moments in this film. But we don’t want to replicate them at all. The look of Arvind Swami is just the generic appearance and by no means is the recreation of the same. It’s our tribute to MGR on his birth anniversary”.
