In the last several years, she has managed to create her own persona in the entertainment world. Jannat is all set to make her Punjabi film debut with ‘Kulche Chole.’
The update came as a surprise when she chose to share the first poster of her upcoming Punjabi film. The actress has recently spoken to the Times of India about her upcoming film titled Kulche Chole where she stated that it will be a crucial film for her as she’s making her debut as a female lead.
She also stated that when she was offered this film, the makers stressed that it will be a Punjabi language film and she needs to be comfortable with Punjabi culture as it would be important for the film.
Jannat Zubair also said that she’s presently learning Punjabi language to get herself adapted to the Punjabi culture. “I took this challenge as an inspiration, as I believe that learning never ends. And learning the Punjabi language is a whole journey that one has to take. I’m really getting into the depths of it to ensure that my portrayal of a Punjabi girl looks flawless. I’m working really hard because I know that this is a new and fresh offering for my fans too,” Jannat added.
Jannat will share the screen space with a Punjabi singer Dilraj Grewal. The film is said to be full of romance and will hit the big screen in 2022.
