The records indicate Payne was undergoing a severe breakdown in his third-floor accommodation at the CasaSur Hotel in Palermo, Buenos Aires. Reports from CNN and La Nacion state that the call for emergency help was made at approximately 5 PM on Wednesday.
Hotel Manager’s Urgent 911 Call Reveals Liam Payne’s Distress & Inebriation Prior to Balcony Accident
The 911 operator started the call by inquiring about the nature of the emergency at the hotel. The manager responded by stating that a guest was “under the influence of drugs and alcohol” and was damaging his room, prompting them to request immediate assistance.
The operator sought clarification about the issues related to alcohol and drugs, to which the manager confirmed the situation and reiterated the urgent need for assistance.
The manager voiced concerns for the guest’s safety, noting that the individual had been inside the room for two to three days and had denied hotel staff access. After additional discussion, the operator assured the manager that the police were en route to the hotel.
Tragically, by the time authorities reached the scene, Liam had already fallen from the balcony of his third-floor room and was discovered lifeless on the ground below.
The police have launched an investigation to ascertain whether Liam’s death was a result of intentional actions.
