The debut trailer for “Fallout,” a post-apocalyptic series directed by Jonathan Nolan and co-conceived by the co-creator of Westworld, has been unveiled. It’s slated to hit Prime Video screens on April 11th. Starring Ella Purnell, Sarita Choudhury, and Dale Dickey, the show is produced by Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, who also serve as co-showrunners and executive producers.

 

The debut trailer of the post-apocalyptic series “Fallout,” directed by Jonathan Nolan has now been unveiled.

Shared by the official Twitter account of Prime Video on March 7, the intriguing clip has sparked anticipation.

The creators have now revealed that all 8 episodes will be released on April 11 on Prime Video, a day earlier than previously announced. This series is linked to the iconic retro-futuristic video game franchise.

The Fallout trailer simply gives the impression of dark humor, tracking the journey of vault dweller Lucy (played by Ella Purnell) after she faces the challenges of navigating the hazardous and warped landscape of the irradiated wasteland.

Additionally, it introduces viewers to the characters like Ma June (played by Dale Dickey) and Moldaver (portrayed by Sarita Choudhury) offering a tantalizing glimpse into their roles within the storyline.

The official summary of ‘Fallout’ presents the series as: “Drawing from one of the most beloved video game franchises, Fallout explores a world divided between the privileged and the impoverished, with resources in short supply.

Two centuries after the apocalypse, inhabitants of opulent fallout shelters must venture back into the radioactive wasteland their ancestors fled. What they encounter is a strange, intricate, and often brutal universe they never imagined.”

Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner take on multiple roles as executive producers, writers, and co-showrunners. Leading the cast are Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins.

The production sees collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios, Kilter Films, Bethesda Game Studios, and Bethesda Softworks.

 

 

Joining the ensemble are Moisés Arias, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones.
