Even though Dulquer Salmaan is going busy with his work and other commitments, he says that he would like to direct a film which will be different from the imagination of the audience.
In his latest film Sita Ramam, Dulquer Salmaan is likely to change his image from an action to a romantic hero. As per the update, the upcoming film will have the presence of Dulquer Salmaan opposite Mrunal Thakur.
The film shows how the two fall in love in the backdrop of a war. Ever since the period drama announced, it’s gaining a lot of attention on various social media platforms mainly because of its unique story and music.
The film narrates the story from the 60s to the 80s having a unique with Rashmika Mandanna playing a different role.
Dulquer Salmaan Keen to Direct A Film In the Future
It all happened at a press conference when Dulquer Salmaan chose to disclose that he is planning to direct a film in the future.
When the South actor was further asked about his detailed plan for directing a film, this is what he said, “I am planning to do but now there is no time. If a film comes from my direction, it will be different from the imagination of the audience.” he said.
He also spoke about performing some matured roles rather taking up romantic roles. This is what he said, . “I think I should give them a break. I am getting older day by day. I have to do different mature roles. I prefer to make points that are fresh and original,” he said.
On the same platform, the actor chose to speak about his next film titled Sita Ramam. This is what he shared regarding the film, “Sita Ramam is a really original story. Really classic film and very rare. No such story has come anywhere in the world. I liked the screenplay very much. It will be beyond our imagination. What we saw in the trailer is very less, you have to experience it on the big screen.” he revealed.
Sita Ramam is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and will hit theaters on August 5. The film is slated to release in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil.
