Talking about Drishyam 2, the much anticipated action entertainer collected Rs. 2.53 crores. The film would have been standing well if it managed to collect Rs 3.25-3.50 crores on both the days.
On the other hand, Bhediya remained at the Rs. 1 crore* mark on Tuesday. However, the figures might have been around Rs. 1.25-1.50 crore mark if it were planning for a big support.
If you look at the collections on Monday, it will all depend on the performance of the film.
So far, the film has managed to collect Rs. 54.31 crores. It can be clearly seen that the film is slowly progressing towards Rs. 60 crores mark.
He further stated, The film has slowed down considerably on the weekdays after a low weekend and the numbers have stayed below the Rs. 1 crore mark on a daily basis. After a weekend of Rs. 5.99 crores, the film has collected only Rs. 1.50 crores* between Monday and Tuesday, hence resulting in the five day total been Rs. 7.49 crores*. The film may touch the Rs. 9 crores mark by the close of first week and then may be add Rs. 1-2 crore more before Avatar: The Way of Water arrives a week later.
