Following a 14-hour cancer surgery for stage 2 liver cancer, Dipika Kakar has returned home after 11 days in the hospital.
Her husband Shoaib Ibrahim shared the update, noting that because the tumour was malignant, follow-ups will be part of her recovery journey.

After 11 emotionally taxing days at the hospital, Dipika Kakar is now back home. In a heartfelt vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim opened up about how tough this time was for their family.
He assured fans that the surgery went well and Dipika is doing better, though the path ahead still involves ongoing medical care and follow-ups.
Dipika, who recently underwent a 14-hour-long surgery, became emotional upon leaving the hospital, thanking her doctors and embracing the nursing staff.
In a vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim recalled the moment they were informed the tumour was malignant. Both he and Dipika were in tears, and he praised the doctor’s empathy for giving them the space to absorb the difficult news.
The vlog captures Dipika’s emotional return home, including a touching reunion with her son Ruhaan. She appeared in the video beside Shoaib Ibrahim, who handled most of the speaking.

Television actress Dipika Kakar faced a health scare in May when she was diagnosed with a stage 2 malignant liver tumour.
According to Shoaib Ibrahim, she underwent a complicated 14-hour surgery where her gallbladder and part of her liver were removed.
Despite the ordeal, doctors were optimistic, explaining that the liver can naturally heal and regenerate over time.
