Dinesh Vijan, 2024’s Leading Producer, to Be Recognized @ 7th Big Cine Expo; Ramesh Sippy Honored for Sholay’s 50th Anniversary

The Big Cine Expo is a yearly gathering where theatre operators, design specialists, equipment manufacturers, system integrators, project managers, and industry stakeholders unite to celebrate cinema and the exhibition industry.

The Big Cine Expo regularly makes news, and this year is no different. Bollywood Hungama has revealed that Dinesh Vijan, the leading producer of 2024, will be honored at the 7th edition of the expo.

This is what a source close to Bollywood Hungama noted, “This year, Dinesh Vijan’s theatrical releases, such as Teri Baaton Main Aisa Uljha Jiya, Munjya, and particularly Stree 2, have all been major successes. Stree 2 especially has turned into a colossal blockbuster. The other films also performed beyond expectations and played a crucial role in revitalizing the exhibition industry. Additionally, he scored a sleeper hit last year with Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023).”

The Expo did not happen in 2020 and 2021 because of Covid-19 limitations. The last edition before that, in 2019, was hosted in Mumbai and celebrated Farah Khan.
