Demon Slayer Infinity Castle continues to woo the audience with its record run. Even before the film’s release, it has been able to smash records in its advance sales. Demon Slayer happens to be a Japanese animated film which is poised to be release on September 12, 2025

 

 

If we take the pre sales performance of Demon Slayer in India, the trends are going really strong. In fact, the craze for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has hit a fever pitch among Indian anime enthusiasts.

The movie is mainly based on the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga by Koyoharu Gotouge and focusing on the Infinity Castle arc, is set to release in India this Friday, September 12.

Record-breaking advance ticket sales indicate that the film is on track to achieve one of the most successful opening weekends for an international film in India this year.

The film has been gaining such an appreciation which is evident by looking at the craze at the box office shared by PVR Cinemas. As per an update, more than 3.5 lakh tickets has already been sold.

 

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh recently shared on Twitter that Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is breaking new ground by having 5 AM showings in India, marking a first for an anime film.

This is what his tweet read: “#DemonSlayerInfinityCastle becomes the first-ever anime film to release with 5 am shows in #India, with tickets selling fast and several shows already sold out.” Due to the tremendous fan enthusiasm, Mumbai cinemas are also hosting extra 12 AM screenings.

 

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Crosses ₹10 Crore In Advance Booking

The box office is already buzzing as Sacnilk reports that Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle crossed OVER ₹10 crores in gross ticket sales on its opening day in India.

With strong momentum, the film is expected to reach ₹15 crores in gross earnings. Moreover, Book My Show has recorded the sale of over 500K tickets, underscoring the huge fan interest.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is all set for its grand release in India, with Sony Pictures Entertainment and Crunchyroll bringing it to over 750 screens nationwide.

This marks the largest anime release in India, across all formats. The film will be available in Japanese (with English subtitles), English, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, becoming the first ever anime film in India to release in five languages.

Demon Slayer has been directed by none other than Haruo Sotozaki. The film stars Rashmika Mandanna and Tiger Shroff who both had a marvelous fan screening of the film before the release date in Mumbai.
