Celebrating 15 Years In the Industry, Ankita Lokhande Expresses Gratitude to Sushant Singh Rajput, Stating, “He Taught Me Invaluable Lessons”

Ankita Lokhande, who’s a renowned Bollywood actress observed a significant achievement in her career on June 1, acknowledging 15 years since her debut in the television series Pavitra Rishta.

The actress recently conveyed her appreciation for the affection and acknowledgment which she grabbed from her co star in her acting career.

In her touching note, she recognized the influence of the series, particularly her portrayal of Archana, which she described as “my identity.” Reflecting on the role’s significance, she remarked, “I sometimes feel I was destined to be Archana.” Additionally, she emphasized the show’s cultural significance, crediting it with introducing “Marathi culture to Hindi television.”

The 39-year-old actress shared a video montage in her post, showcasing memorable moments from Pavitra Rishta alongside glimpses of her later projects, including the film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and her appearance on Bigg Boss 17.

Ankita paid special tribute to her former co-star and partner Sushant Singh Rajput in the caption. She expressed profound gratitude for his support, especially during the early stages of her career. 

Lokhande concluded by expressing appreciation for the television industry, acknowledging it as the platform where she first experienced fame and fandom. 

Both Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput, known for their roles as Archana and Manav in Pavitra Rishta, were romantically involved for a number of years before parting ways. Unfortunately, Sushant Singh Rajput passed away in June 2020.
