CBFC Clears Salman Khan’s Sikandar Along with Its 3.38-Minute Theatrical Trailer

The CBFC certificate reveals that the theatrical trailer of Sikandar is 3 minutes and 38 seconds long, while the film itself has a total runtime of 150.8 minutes, or 2 hours, 30 minutes, and 8 seconds.

Both the movie and its trailer have received a UA 13+ certification. Notably, Sikandar stands out as one of the rare films to have its trailer and final cut approved by the CBFC on the same day.

With the CBFC approval complete, anticipation now shifts to the trailer launch, scheduled for Sunday, March 30. Following the certification, theaters are also set to begin advance bookings for the film.

Sikandar boasts an ensemble cast, including Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Rashmika Mandanna, Salman Khan, and more. Directed by A R Murugadoss, renowned for his 2008 blockbuster Ghajini, the film is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

A notable aspect of Sikandar is its rare Sunday release. According to a source quoted by Bollywood Hungama, “The team is confident that Sunday is the perfect day for the film’s debut. It’s a major holiday, especially in Maharashtra, as it coincides with Gudi Padwa.

Ramzan Eid will be observed the following day, Monday, March 31, with post-Eid festivities likely to boost collections on Tuesday, April 1, and Wednesday, April 2, in several areas.

The film is also expected to witness another surge starting Friday, April 4, maintaining strong numbers through Sunday, April 6.
