Cannes Film Festival 2022: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be a jury member at the mega event to be held very soon.
At the event, Vincent Lindon will be the president of the jury whereas Deepika will join along with some other stars like Joachim Trier, Jeff Nichols, Asghar Farhadi, Ladj Ly and actor-director Rebecca Hall, Noomi Rapace.
All of them will join at the 75th Cannes Film Festival. The event will follow the winner which will be announced on May 28. On the occasion, Deepika Padukone is expected to mark her presence for all the 10 days of the event.

Take a look at what the Jury President Vincent Lindon said, “It is a great honor and source of pride to be entrusted, in the midst of the tumult of all the events we are going through in the world, with the splendid, weighty task of chairing the Jury of the 75th International Cannes Film Festival. With my Jury, we will strive to take the best possible care of the films of the future, all of which carry the same secret hope of courage, loyalty, and freedom, with a mission to move the greatest number of women and men by speaking to them of their common wounds and joys. Culture helps the human soul to rise and hope for tomorrow,” he said.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Pathaan opposite John Abraham and Shah Rukh Khan.
Some other films in the pipeline include Fighter with Hrithik Roshan, The Intern remake with Draupadi, Amitabh Bachchan along with a Hollywood project.
