Those were the struggling days of today’s Bollywood mega star Amitabh Bachchan in 1970’s until he got this film titled Zanjeer. The film was released in the year 1973 had changed the life of the megastar.

Today, when people remember the most iconic film of Amitabh Bachchan, they can never forget some of the very special film’s dialogues of Amitabh Bachchan.

Some of them include ‘Jab tak baithne ko na kaha jaaye sharafat se khade raho… yeh police station hai… tumhare baap ka ghar nahi’.

Well, there are many more dialogues that managed to create ripples across the audience’s mind and souls.

 

Overall, the film proved a mega hit at the box office. In other words, we can say that Zanjeer (1973) proved a game changer in the life of Amitabh Bachchan who was struggling at that time.

Zanjeer became one of the most entertaining films of that era starring Jaya Bachchan, Om Prakash and Pran in their lead roles.

On the work front, the megastar will next feature in Chehre to be directed by Rumi Jaffery. Another one is going to be Gulabo Sitabo helmed by Shoojit Sircar.
