Controversial Bollywood actor Ajaz Khan met with another setback when his bail application was rejected by the Bombay High Court today.
He had earlier applied for a relief after his arrest by the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) in a sensational drug racket involvement.
It was on March 30, 2021 when NCB sleuths had picked Ajaz Khan while probing for a larger drug syndicate operating in Mumbai area.
After receiving crucial inputs, NCB officials nabbed Ajaz for his involvement in the dug racket case.
Ajaz Khan drugs case
It all happened on March 30 when NCB detained Ajaz Khan from the Mumbai airport. He was returning from Rajasthan. His name was on the NCB radar after receiving inputs from Shadab Khan.

Shadab was later identified as a local drug peddler from Mumbai who was involved in the drug racket case with Ajaz Khan.
The sources revealed that Ajaz was an active member of ‘Batata Gang’ that use to operate across Mumbai.
After interrogating him for eight long hours, he was finally remanded to the custody of NCB.
In his defiance, Ajaz stated that since no drugs were found from his premises except some sleeping pills, his arrest was unlawfully made.
He further stated that the sleeping pills were only being consumed by his wife who was going through a phase of depression.
On the other hand, NCB officials clarified that why they have arrested Ajaz Khan not because of the sleeping pills but because of his alleged connections with the Batata Gang.
