Here comes an interesting story about the noted film actor Dulquer Salmaan who has revealed how he met with his wife Amal for the first time.
As per Salmaan, it all happened during the days when he was pursuing his education in the US.
Soon after he returned from the States, everybody in his family started looking for a suitable girl to get him married. Even his friends and colleagues wished the same.
The actor spoke to Deccan Chronicle and revealed that it was the same girl that his family selected for him.
Interestingly, Salmaan noticed her presence almost each of his outings. And then, he somehow felt that it could be some celestial sign saying he should get married to that girl.
This is what Dulquer Salmaan said in the interview, “After I returned from the US where I was finishing my studies, my folks were keen on getting me married. My friends and family suggested the name of one of my schoolmates who was five years my junior. My friends started matching her bio-data with mine. Now, it so happened that on most of my outings, I would notice the same girl there as well. Or at times when I decided to watch a movie, surprisingly, she would also be there watching that same movie and the same show. Since I was bumping into her often unknowingly, I somehow felt it could be some celestial sign that I should get married to her.”
Dulquer further stated that he first invited her on a coffee date and even informed his parents about this. “I informed my parents about this girl. Both the families met and connected immediately. So I can say it is a love-cum-arranged marriage,” said the actor, adding: “We have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter who is very talkative. Both Dulquer Salmaan and Amal tied their nuptial knot in the year 2011 in Chennai. In May, 2017, the couple welcomes their first girl child, Maryam. Talking about his daughter, Salmaan told that she’s very talkative and keeps entertaining the entire family.
Dulquer Salmaan was last featured in a Tamil language film titled Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal along with many other multiple language films like Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
He’s not just restricted doing South films but has become a versatile actor.
