Battlefield 6 Community Frustrated Over Useless’ Gadget

Battlefield 6 is a world wide game which has been recognized by millions of gamers. There are many aspects why the game is liked by such a huge community of gamers.

Recently, gamers reported that Battlefield 6 is having an ongoing issue that frustated users for long. The issue that made them panic is none other than portable mortar which the final players gain access to at level 49.

Ever since the October 10 was released, it was launched on platforms like PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

Even before the issue persisted, there was a recent announcement from the Battlefield Comms team. It was regarding some abrupt experience that gamers might have to face around the California Resistance update. The above update will be coming on November 18 to Battlefield 6 and may disrupt the game.

The update will behave in such a way that gamers should witness a slight difference in its weapon bloom. However, developers are constantly working to improve the overall guns at longer ranges.

The developers are also known to have been working in making a few changes to assist functions. The game developers are implementing changes to aim assist to ensure it operates similarly to its open beta version.

Looking at the reply and assistance being given, many gamers liked it and satisfied the way things are trying to become normal.

 

Battlefield 6 Players Think the Portable Mortar Is Bad

As per a post shared on Reddit by a user, it was revaled that they have already unlocked the portable mortar and can be used by Battlefield 6’s Support class.

But the issues centered on mortar shells spending far too long in the air, virtually nonexistent damage, and an overly large blast spread. They admitted it was enjoyable to fire, but it never felt like it truly helped their team in any way.

Well, the above criticism from the gaming community regarding Battlefield 6 is not new. It all happened after the issue that portable mortar of Battlefield 6 has to face the backlash. The main criticism came from the smoke shells which can be readily used to grab battlefield,

The smoke cloud produced by the portable mortar left players disappointed, as its limited size made it largely ineffective for providing cover.

In the same way, SHARPxSHOOTER also criticized the smoke rounds, claiming they dispersed too quickly and failed to offer the same concealment a smoke grenade would provide.

Soon, other gamers also came along to discuss the ongoing effort to rectify the issue. They simply advised other players to avoid using the portable mortar. It’s because there existsed a better Support loadouts available in Battlefield 6.

There are a few users that clarified that portable mortar becomes a much more valuable asset when multiple players utilize it together for team support.

Launching synchronized strikes with multiple mortars could make it easier to break through enemy defenses compared to using just one.

Still, plenty of players agree that the mortar would benefit from a noticeable damage upgrade. Despite these complaints, fans appear to be having fun with Battlefield 6 and are hopeful about where the game is headed.

Battlefield 6 Release Date

Battlefield 6 was released on October 10, 2025. The game also had its global launch on some other platforms like Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

The game is basically a free to play game which is also known as battle royale mode. It all happened on October 28, 2025 when RedSec was launched.

Battlefield 6 also comes with some quality improvement for gamers across the globe. For example, it comes with an entirely new “Kinesthetic Combat System” which is a type of a new movement system.
