Salman Khan’s Tubelight is about to release giving us a fresh look at a number of leading stars. Tubelight star cast comprises Salman Khan in the lead role opposite Zhu Zhu (Chinese actress). Apart from these, other artists in the film include director Kabir Khan, screen writer, child artist Matin Rey Tangu and his real life brother Sohail Khan.

The Kabir Khan directorial film narrates the story of a simple guy named Laxman Singh Bisht (Salman Khan) who always looks fond of his brother Sohail Khan (Bharat). The upcoming movie is set in the backdrop of Indo-China war held in the year 1962. The story of the film narrates a brother’s belief and faith in himself and Bharat (Sohail Khan).
The kind of faith between two brothers has been such that it looks undeterred even after the spread of the news of the demise of his brother. Tubelight seems to be an official adaptation of Little Boy, a Hollywood movie released in 2015.

Zhu Zhu- She’s the Chinese actress who will be seen opposite Salman Khan in the upcoming film. The actress is making her Bollywood debut with this film. Telling you more about the actress- she hails from Beijing and has starred in a plethora of Chinese movies and television shows in the past. She recently rose to fame for her talent to be a VJ (Video Jockey) on MTV China. Along with that, Zhu Zhu has also appeared once in an American movie- “The Man With The Iron Fists“. It’s a martial arts movie where she acted opposite Russell Crowe.
Matin Rey Tangu– He’s among one of the indispensable Tubelight star casts. He matches with Salman’s star power along with his cuteness quotient. The little boy named “Matin Rey Tangu” is from AP (Arunachal Pradesh) playing the role of Salman’s friend in the movie. As per his wish, Matin always wanted to be a chef and will take up the profession in his free time while continuing his acting career.
Om Puri- Tubelight star cast also has the presence of late Om Puri, who has, in fact, left a void in the entire fraternity. He will be seen acting in his last Bollywood ventures. The late legendary actor was seen in the trailer of the upcoming film that eventually signifies how crucial his character is going to be in the film. Om Puri played Salman Khan’s Saviour in his last project- Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
ShahRukh Khan- SRK is also going to play a crucial role in the film. He will be seen donning the cap of a great musician. He will appear doing a cameo role, it’s been speculated that his entry in the movie is going to change the entire course of events in the life of Laxman Singh Bisht (Salman Khan). Well, whatever the case may be, fans get a chance to have a glimpse of both the superstars getting united on the silver screen after a gap of 15 years.
Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub– Ayyub is all set to show his class again in this movie after giving a spectacular performance in SRK’s “Raees”. He has already shown his class in the trailer of the film.
Director– Kabir Khan is directing the film again with Salman Khan. This is his 3rd collaboration with Khan after giving successful hits for two times- Bajrangi Bhaijaan and “Ek Tha Tiger”. But he has directed SRK for the first time. As per the director who says that he always tries to present a unique story in his films and pretends to blend reality with the mainstream cinema by keeping the interest of the audience.
