Half Girlfriend movie song Baarish is creating ripples ever since the track is released. Although, the film will be released not later than May 19, 2017 but one of the songs of the upcoming film featuring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor has already been released.
It seems as if both the leading stars in the film let the audience get drenched in the rain. The song happens to be the first track of the movie to have released before the film itself.
Indian cinema has always witnessed the dominance of rains in terms of romance. Well, the two terms look synonymous in the history of Bollywood and whenever the rain has to play its part. This is because the rain triggers the effectiveness of romance and make the surroundings fill with utmost cheer and fun.

Half Girlfriend movie song Baarish also reminds us of the same sequence of romance. “Baarish” happens to be the first song in the film and is surely going to capture the fragrance of your first love, especially when you make an eye contact with your beloved.
The beautiful track has been sung by none other than Ash King who’s known to have given a number of hit music in the past. For example, “I Love You” (from Bodyguard) and “Te Amo” (from Dum Maaro Dum).
Half Girlfriend movie song- Just another track for Shraddha Kapoor in rain
Even before the film, the makers of Half Girlfriend decided to release its first track which looks awesome. Considering what Arjun had said earlier that Baarish behaves as the self starter and eventually helps in the safe progression of the story. Well, the film revolves around its romantic couple Arjun Kapoor (as Madhav Jha) and Shraddha Kapoor (Riya Somani).
The lovely track titled ‘Baarish’ takes you to Madhav who gets a real time crush with college friend Riya. He looks busy drooling over Riya, who comes out to be a high class student of St. Stephen college. At the same time, she’s unaware of this guy who seems to lurk around her.
The lyrics of Half Girlfriend song Baarish have been written by Tanishk Bagchi and Arafat Mehmood but looks mediocre and unsatisfying. At the same time, it also looks quite shocking to believe that both of the lyricsts are credited of performing exceptionally well in their earlier assignments.
On the other hand, the odd connection between rain and Shraddha is not new as we have witnessed all this even before. Do we have to spot Shraddha every time doing a number in the rains? Not really. As you can see, Shraddha, doing a song in the rains doesn’t get wet in the majority of the song.
The song won’t be called as one of the great works of Mohit Suri (director) who’s credited of giving hits in Ek Villain and Aashiqui 2. But still, the track has the potential to surge into the minds of the audience.
