Well, Google India has come forward and issued its statement on some of the top trending movies in India in 2016.
It includes top stories, major events and the biggest moments by taking into account all the searches and user interests across the country.
The basis of the report also includes the overall searches made by the citizens of India in the entire year (2016), along with the searches made in the names of different personalities on Google.
For example, the recently released Bollywood biopic proved blockbuster, ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ starring Disha Patani and Sushant Singh Rajput; and ‘Sultan’ starring Salman Khan have been amongst the top searches so far in 2016. Google India has reported all this on this Wednesday by issuing a statement.
If we look in terms of Bollywood leads, then the names of Disha Patani and Sushant Singh Rajput shine, as maximum searches were made in the names of these two in the recent past on Google.
All the recent blockbusters enlisted among the top trending movies in India
The list doesn’t end here. After Disha Patani and Sushant Singh Rajput, the name of Kabir Bedi (Bollywood lead actor) emerged at the top, followed by none other than the names of personalities including Harshvardhan Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat and Salman Khan.
Now, if we discuss about movies, then Salman Khan’s blockbuster ‘Sultan’ has emerged on the top. It’s followed by another blockbuster ‘Kabali‘. As you know, ‘Kabali’ is Rajnikant’s starrer film and was appreciated among the masses. Among other top trending movies in India included ‘Udta Punjab‘ (Shahid Kapoor starrer), ‘Airlift‘ (featuring Akshay Kumar) and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, starring Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor.
