The 66th National film awards ceremony recently concluded where a plethora of top Bollywood artists received awards and recognition.
The entire ceremony is highly prestigious where different cinematic artists are given recognition of their hard work in their own respective fields.
Among those felicitated, was Priyanka Chopra who also bagged the national award for her own production titled “Paani”. It’s a Marathi presentation based on the environmental conservation.
As soon as it was announced that PeeCee will be receiving a national award for her Marathi production, it was the moment of extreme joy for her. The Bollywood siren instantly took on to the social media to express the level of her gratitude and excitement.

She not only congratulated her team of artists who contributed to the success of Paani but also sensed a great feeling of working together as a team.
This is what she chose to write on her social media account “It looks so refreshing with a feeling of joy to have produced such a film like Paani. I congratulate to the entire team of Paani. Also, I like to give away a big thumbs up to our creative team and @adinathkothare for bringing the kind of relevant and challenging film in front of the audience…”
Well, this is not the first time that Priyanka has produced something unique and relevant in Marathi. In the past, she had produced a Marathi film titled Ventilator.

Priyanka also chose to write about her film Paani that received the national award. She wrote “Paani happens to be our humble attempt to make people understand about the seriousness of the water crisis using entertainment. In fact, this is of a grave concern to the entire humanity. And we are so honored that our film had a great impact with all our efforts have been recognized in this fashion.”
In the meanwhile, Priyanka also didn’t forget to thank the jury who not only selected her film for an award but also found it motivational for others as well. This is what she wrote “I sincerely want to thank the jury members for having recognized our hard work and awarding our Marathi film “Paani” in the category of the ‘best feature film on environment conservation’.
Soon after winning the much precedent award, the actress claimed that she instantly liked to involve media in the best of her ways to bring focus on one of the major concerns to save water that has been going quite a serious issue now.
Regarding her upcoming Bollywood projects, PeeCee will next be featured in The Sky Is Pink stariing Rohit Saraf, Zaira Wasim and Farhan Akhtar in their lead roles. The film is expected to hit the screens only in October 2019.
