Fans of cricket legend Wasim Akram have a reason to rejoice. Well, he is not going to play a cricket match any longer but due to a biopic that will be made on his sporting journey so far.
Don’t you think it’s going to be interesting? Well, this is what has been decided at a meeting at PSL 2020.
As per the makers, the biopic will be named as Akram: An Era. Reacting to this, former Pakistani cricket player and commentator expressed his excitement for the same.
He looked all excited to know that a biopic on his name is shortly going to be made.
When Wasim Akram was asked to give his views, this is what he said, “If films are made on sports star, it is going to be good sign not just for all those sport stars but also for cricket. More than that, I believe that movies are a great way to get entertained and this is the reason why I look forward to participate in that.”
As per the latest Bollywood news, the film’s shooting will commence by the year’s end.
Also, there is no release date of the film is announced. This is because everything is in the initial stage. Even the film’s cast has not been finalised.
Please note that Akram: An Era is going to be produced under the banner of 502 Productions & Pomelo Films. Arsalan H. Shah and Addeel Niazi are going to be the executive producers of this film.
